About
WBUR's Education coverage is a multimedia project covering education in Boston and beyond. On air, here at wbur.org, on Facebook and in live events around town, we discover and share the stories that matter most to you.
This grew out of an earlier WBUR project, Learning Lab. You can still access all our Learning Lab stories here. We will continue the work we started there and will expand our coverage of education, from preschool to grad school and beyond.
In all our coverage, we look for human stories – stories about the real people whose lives are touched by education.
We aim to go deeper, with fresh perspectives on where, how and why we learn. We won’t just look at what’s happening in education – we’ll try to figure out why. And we’ll strive always to talk with you, not at you.
So help us take the education conversation beyond the usual voices. Connect with us on Facebook or drop us a line. Tell us: When it comes to education, what would you like to know?

We welcome proposals for guest commentaries on current topics in education. Commentaries are typically 500-800 words and should be written for a general audience. If you are interested in writing a commentary, please contact edify@wbur.org. Explain your idea in a sentence or two and let us know your connection to the issue.
