A native of North Carolina, Kirsten Kalkhurst joined WBUR in 1996 as Manager of Business Partnerships. Prior to joining WBUR, Kirsten managed advertising efforts for a variety of commercial publications in New York and Massachusetts including the Boston Business Journal, Mass High Tech, Random House’s Children’s Book Back List, and the Nantucket Beacon. Kirsten attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Boston University. An avid lover of nature, Kirsten has a passion for running and basically anything that can be done outdoors - any time of the year.
