Lisa White joined WBUR in 2019 as an announcer and copyeditor for Business Partnerships after a long career in book publishing, most recently as an acquisitions editor of nature books and field guides at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

A lifelong NPR listener, Lisa has happy memories of volunteering at WBUR fundraisers in the early 1990s, just after moving to Boston.

Lisa is a mom to two humans, two dogs, and two cats and enjoys reading, gardening, playing tennis, and cooking vegetarian food.
